Elementary December Week 2 -We Can Celebrate Jesus' Birth

Posted: 12/12/2020

Hello SCC Kids!

Christmas is right around the corner and many celebrations are under way. This week we are learning about the greatest celebration of all, the celebration of Jesus' birth! Jesus' birth is the greatest gift we could have ever been given. The fact that he came to earth as a baby, experienced life as we do, and then died for our sins is an amazing gift! Does your family do anything special to celebrate the birth of Jesus? I would love to hear some of your traditions. Maybe this will be the year you start a tradition. You could bake a cake for Jesus, give a special gift, make a card. There are many ways to celebrate his birth. You can read about his miraculous birth in Luke 2:1-7.

Don't forget our SCC Kids holiday zoom party is today at 1:30 pm. Party kits were delivered yesterday. I can't wait to celebrate with you! There's another opportunity to celebrate with your family. On Friday, December 18th, SCC is hosting a Christmas lights scavenger hunt! You can pick up your first clue from church between 6:30-7pm. Then it's off for a drive around Surprise as you check off items from your lists and collect goodies at pit stops along the way. We hope to see you all there, it will be a fun night!

If you have any questions or prayer requests, feel free to reach out to me at any time! I love you and God loves you too!

Love,

Ms. Brandy
