Preschool December Week 2 - We Can Celebrate Jesus' Birth

Posted: 12/13/2020

Hello SCC Preschool and Kinder friends!

Christmas is right around the corner and I bet you are getting pretty excited! What is your favorite thing about Christmas? Let me guess, is it presents? Did you know that a long time ago God gave us the greatest present of all for the very first Christmas? It's true and he came to us as a little baby. God gave us his son, Jesus as a baby so that he could grow up just like us and save us from sin! Wow! That is an amazing gift. Every year we get to celebrate that gift, the birth of Jesus at Christmas. It's like a big birthday party for Jesus! So don't forget to wish Jesus a happy birthday and thank God for giving us such an amazing gift. How would you like to celebrate Jesus' birth? Make a card or a cake? Give a special gift? I would love to hear your ideas! You can share them with me and any prayer requests you may have anytime!

Don't forget our SCC Kids holiday zoom party is today at 1:30 pm. Party kits were delivered yesterday. I can't wait to celebrate with you! There's another opportunity to celebrate with your family. On Friday, December 18th, SCC is hosting a Christmas lights scavenger hunt! You can pick up your first clue from church between 6:30-7pm. Then it's off for a drive around Surprise as you check off items from your lists and collect goodies at pit stops along the way. We hope to see you all there, it will be a fun night!

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful season and remember, I love you and God loves you too!

Love,

Ms. Brandy
