Elementary March Week 1 - God's Plans Are Perfect

Posted: 3/7/2021

Hello SCC Kids!

It's the first week of March which means we have a new Theme! This month our theme is titled, "Blueprints." Do you know what blueprints are? Blueprints are plans used for building things. Our church building is being built right now. The people working on our building are using blueprints. An architect and team came up with building plans and now they are following those plans to build our classrooms, bathrooms and everything else our church needs. Isn't that exciting? It's kind of like when you get a new lego set. They come with instructions on how to build the set. When you follow that plan, or blueprint, your set comes together just as planned! God always has a plan or blueprint for us. Even if we don't understand how certain things fit into God's plan, we can trust that God's plans are perfect! When we aren't sure what the next step to take is, we can look to the Bible for God's plan.

This week, we are talking about a time when Jesus went to the temple in Jerusalem to celebrate Passover. Passover was a time where the Jewish people celebrated God's plan to get them out of slavery in Egypt. While at the temple Jesus saw a lot of people not following God's plan and that made him angry. He told them of God's ultimate plan. That Jesus would die for our sins and be raised again 3 days later. God's plan is perfect and we can trust that.

I'm looking forward to discovering more about God's plans with all of you this  month. If you have any questions or prayer requests, let me know! I hope you have a wonderful week. I love you and God loves you too!

Love,

Ms. Brandy
