Elementary May Week 1 - The Holy Spirit Helps Us Want To Know God

Hello SCC Kids!

Happy May! I just love May. The weather is getting warmer, Mother's day is coming up, the school year is almost over. There are so many fun events to look forward to in May. It is a wonderful time to spend time with family and make memories. Every time I get to spend time with my family I learn something new about them. Stories passed down from generation to generation are your family's Legacy. We are learning all about God's Legacy this month. 

This week we talk about a very important Legacy Jesus left behind for his disciples, The Holy Spirit. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be with all of us. There are many ways the Holy Spirit helps us day to day, generation to generation. The Holy Spirit helps us get to know God and help others get to know God. When you feel the pull of the Holy Spirit in your life, I pray you learn to listen and grow closer to God.
